Hi everyone!
Today I wanted to share some positive affirmations. I was introduced to affirmations by one of my favourite YouTubers Adelaine Morin. Since I learnt about them, I have been trying my best to continuously use affirmations in my everyday life. These are so great to read everyday or when you need a pick me up.
What is an affirmation?
Okay, so to start off, what are affirmations?
Affirmations are short phrases that have a positive impact on your body and mind. Affirmations are positive thinking and also can be empowering.
Over time affirmations can help to change negative thoughts and can build a positive outlook on the world around you and yourself too.
How to use affirmations?
There are many ways to use affirmations and everyone is different. Some people will repeat them constantly in their head to themselves when negative thoughts start to arise. Others speak them into a mirror in the morning or throughout the day.
Affirmations are not a quick fix and take time, a lot of practice and patience. As negative self-talk we have built up over time will take time to change. I promise you are more amazing than you think. 😊
